Great Books for Coders

If you’re not a coder, but love someone who is, these are books he or she will enjoy. I’ve recently picked all of these books up. Most can be purchased used for significant savings. The “Masterminds…” book is particularly good.

    Steve McConnell’s Code Complete is also fantastic and should be required reading for anyone learning to program. Even if you’re a vet, it helps you remember all those things you’ve forgotten but really should be doing.

    Another recommended read is Out of their Minds: The Lives and Discoveries of 15 Great Computer Scientists.
