New Voices – Introducing John Sharp

January 19, 2009

I’ve decided to add a writer to Applied Game Design – John Sharp.

John is a odd (and yet perfect) mix of a game designer. He has a PhD in Art History, a career as an interaction, game and graphic designer and has worked with the likes of Eric Zimmerman on a variety of projects. He is presently working on a couple projects which make me jealous. I talk with John quite a bit since our interests in games are very similar and thought readers of AGD would appreciate his voice as well. In fact, the Project Horseshoe Report posted earlier today is John’s. Those of you attending GDC can check out his session.

You can tell who is posting by checking the author line at the top of the post on the date line. Welcome, John.

    Hmm, sounds interesting!

Man, I haven’t been able to comment on your blog for ages. Sorry about that, I’ve got plenty of stuff at work and projects back at home…

I plan on attending the GDC as a Conference Associate again this year, so I’ll try and make it to the session one way or another. Good luck!
