Greg Costikyan comments on SCAD’s GDX conference in Atlanta. One of the highlights for me was playing board games with Greg, Sheri Graner Ray, Linda Currie, Elan Lee and Ian Schreiber (a man who travels with board games).

Mark Oehlert makes me smile by saying some incredibly nice things about how RPGs influenced him. I remember back in the 1980’s, in the days when we were all still excited by game’s potential and before people showed up to say, “NO!”, you’d read articles on how these amazing games were helping people with social disorders, etc.

David McDonough publishes his post-mortem on Rats on Game Career Guide.

In other news, though I played a bunch of games at GDX, one is nagging me to play it again to the point where I will likely go out and buy it tomorrow: Dragon Parade.
