Laralyn McWilliams and I gave a talk today at GDC. These are the slides for those who are interested: Intuition vs. Metrics: How Social Game Design Has Evolved.

    Thanks for putting your deck up – even without the presentation I found it really interesting – especially how you’ve separated out the “new” way of thinking (social, metrics, web) from the “old” ways (design, discussion, monolithic) – I think hiring somebody to be “the social guy” is still one of the hardest things to do as it’s difficult to get buy in from their peers that this is something which can add value to their game, to any game.

    Genevieve would love to interview you for her channel which is aimed at young girls, telling them “Hey this industry needs you and look at these cool women who are already rocking it not only for the love of it but also to help others too i.e. socially responsbile gaming!”

    She sent me links about your work and it fits in EAXCTLY with the type of person she is after to showcase. Any chance you could accommodate her. You absolutely ROCK!

    Will you be at E3 this year because Gen is tryingto get in to cover the event and report on it live?
